Who we Are

The Church of the Augustana in Southeast Asia (CASEA) is a region-wide communion of Lutheran congregations committed to upholding historical Christian orthodoxy and the faithful teaching and practice of it. In every aspect of the Church we strive to observe all that Jesus Christ has commanded; and we firmly maintain that the Lutheran Confessions are a faithful and invaluable exposition of God’s holy teachings.

Unapologetically Lutheran.

The Church of the Augustana in Southeast Asia (CASEA) rejects any surrender of Lutheran doctrine and practice. We believe it’s time for the Evangelical Lutheran Church to stand firm on the foundation of God’s Word and boldly confess the faithful exposition of Holy Scripture found in the Book of Concord (1580).
