While ‘conservative’ is a term with various interpretations, Annunciation Lutheran Mission, as a confessional Lutheran mission congregation in Singapore, is firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures and the historic Lutheran Confessions. We reject all departures from the faith. We affirm all of Holy Scripture to be the inerrant, inspired Word of God. We reject women’s ordination, and practice closed communion.
Following historic Lutheran practice, we observe Closed Communion, which means that only communicant members of our congregation or of other congregations that have declared their oneness of faith with us are invited to commune at the Lord’s Table. Catechetical classes are offered so that those who are interested in joining our Communion fellowship have the opportunity to learn about the Christian faith and our confession of it.
